For Hospice Service Call: (760) 983-2647
At St. Bernardine Hospice Care, we strive to provide terminally ill patients with comfort during their final days of life. We also work with loved ones of these patients in Apple Valley and throughout the Inland Empire, to ensure that they are comfortable with the measures being taken for their family members or friends. The goal of our hospice care is to give each patient dignity through the end and to ensure they have the highest quality of life.
Hospice care workers tend to the patients directly, providing them with physical care as well as emotional and spiritual comfort. In addition to working with patients, we also work with family members, friends and loved ones to ensure that they receive the information they need in order to make the best decisions possible for the patient. We are there to provide tools, support and resources to relatives for as long as necessary.

In order to be eligible for hospice care, a patient must be diagnosed with a terminal illness or have a limited life expectancy because the patient has decided not to pursue continued medical care.
Where can I receive services?
Hospice care workers can take care of a patient in their home, at an assisted living facility or in a hospital, depending on the preferences of the patient and the patient’s family members.
How do I pay for Hospice?
Most insurance companies cover hospice care, as does Medicare and Medicaid.
At St. Bernardine Hospice Care, we believe that all patients have the right to quality end-of-life care. Whether they are battling a terminal illness, or are choosing not to seek continuing medical care for an illness that they have. It is essential to work with a quality hospice care program that is dedicated to providing patients with the best resources and the support they need, as well as committed to working with family members through this very difficult time.
